Default language for subititles of the season 1 ( I don’t know about other season yet) is french, I tried to make english default using subtitle edit but it didn’t work. Is there any way I can make english subtitles as default? As usual thank you for your effort.

Hello, as you can see in the MediaInfo of S01E01, the first subtitles track (English) is set as default, and the third one (French) as well. However, if your media player is correctly configured, or in contrary, not configured at all, it should select the first track that’s default in the list order. The only way the French subs can be selected as default even though they’re last is if you explicitly put French subs with a higher priority than English ones in the media player settings or maybe if your system locale is set to French. This is not a me error, it’s on your end. Maybe tell me more about your setup if you want to troubleshoot this? BTW, SubtitleEdit is not the right tool for changing tracks properties in a mkv container, you’d use MKVToolNix GUI instead.

Thanks for telling me regarding the software. As for the problem, I still don’t know why it happend, I have previously downloaded a lot of your uploads and this is the first time I am facing this. Using the said software I found that while english is set as default, french too has been set as default language and for some reason VLC is using french as the default. I just removed french from default subtitle and it started working as it should. Again thank you for your uploads. Will be waiting for more great uploads from you

we shouldn’t do 720p releases anymore in the age of 4k.

That would be true, if anime were produced in 4k and not just upscaled to 4k. There’s also people with less bandwidth and less storage, anime should be for everyone. And you already know Trix has a 1080p version of this release so there’s uncertainty regarding what point you’re trying to make.
Let’s not get stuck of semantics and just appreciate someone releasing this for us.

i still like better 720p
