so exactly which version of this story is this batch … because mangaupdates shows that the story was dropped by j-novel after 7 vols
https://www.mangaupdates.com/series/k5vt3p3/discommunication
on the mangaupdates page it shows that there is a 13 vol version, and a 7 vol version … and on the j-novel page up above, that page shows that some of the vols are single vols, and some are omnibus vols
… so what exactly is this batch … because it looks like it might be a fun story to read

The omnibus on the cover is weird, maybe they wanted to combine 4 & 5, and 6 & 7 as omnibus?
I’ve checked/compared and volumes 1-6 match the Japanese 13 volume release. Volume 7 has 3 extra chapters compared to the Japanese volume 7.
Most likely when they decided to drop the title, they had 3 extra chapters translated already and just put them with volume 7.

So you can just say this is the normal 13 volume edition with 3 extra chapters before they dropped it.

@ Oakminati … none of what you said makes any sense at all … because the number of ch’s per non-omnibus vol averages 6-7 ch per vol … and “omnibus” vols are normally 2-3 “normal” vol’s per omnibus vol … so, as I asked, what exactly IS this batch … since the omnibus vols all have the same number of ch’s as the "regular vol’s … so how exactly did a 13 vol story fit into a 6 vol edition, that has omnibus vol’s the same average size as the “regular” vol’s … which begs the question of just what exactly is vol 7 which has 8 ch’s instead of the 3 that you said were left over from the 13 vols that were vol’s 1-6 (which was supposedly the original 13 vol version of the story) … it sounds like you have no idea what it was that you copied and uploaded … so I’ll skip this abortion … and wonder how many of the people who downloaded it can even make any sense out of whatever version it was that you uploaded as they read it

sorry your education system failed you

Learning to read, I made a guess why the covers have omnibus written on it. Only 4-7 have that, where 4&5 and 6&7 share the same omnibus number so I was thinking they might’ve intended to combine those as omnibuses, but never got to. Besides, the regular volume number is still on the cover as well, and that is what you should be looking at to figure out what edition this is when also comparing them to the Japanese volumes like I did instead of guessing.

Now to the main point, dropped is read as cancelled, so by no means is this series completed and never will—at least by J-Novel Club, so don’t think too hard about all this, they just stopped halfway and had some extra chapters already done and just shoved them with 7 to be done with it, or else contact J-Novel Club if you want to absolutely know for sure…

@lamp333333 perfect manga title for it, don’t you think? 🤪

Thank you for the release. I really liked Nazo no Kanojo X, so was interested to read this other manga of the same author.
